It's been a while...time for an update!

So...things have been happening at rapid pace in the Williams' household lately.  We have been undergoing many changes and reaching wonderful new milestones!  What excitement I have to share with you!

Madie has been overwhelming us with the growth and knowledge she has acquired.  She never ceases to amaze me with her new little nuggets of information.  Just the other day she got stuck in between a table and chair and with all the seriousness in the world she hollered "ayudame" which means "help me" in spanish...little did I know what a good teacher Dora the Explorer was.  She still says it when she needs help and she doesn't seem to get it with just a simple "help me."  She is very dramatic about most everything, so as you can imagine she enjoys learning things that can add the extra emphasis.  She also has reached the major milestone of potty training...I didn't think we'd ever see the day!  Praise the Lord we have just about mastered it!  We started last Friday, so we've almost been going a week and she has blown my mind with how well she has done.  I am so thankful!  Memorial Day was also a major marker in her repertoire of skills.  She adapted well to the water and swam around all day with just floaties on.  She has really blossomed into a little girl!  I'm filled with mixed emotions as I ponder all of the things she's learning and doing right now.  In a little less than 2 months she will be three, (as I type this with tears in my eyes) I can still remember so vividly the day she was born, turning three seems so much bigger than turning one or two...where did my baby go?  She's only been in my life for 3 years, yet I can't remember life without her, she has turned my world upside down, caused me to wonder if I was going to lose my mind before the age of 30, broken my heart, made me cry, made me laugh, given me such joy, stretched me farther than I could've ever imagined.  She is a remarkable little girl and I am so blessed to be known by her as "Mommy."
