My dear sweet Madie had her three year check-up today. She was bright eyed and cheery all morning until around 9:20...four shots later, (yep that's right I said 4) she was no longer quite as chipper; however, our trip to the Dollar General for a prize seemed to heal all her aches and pains as she proudly walked out of the store with her new little baby doll. I also gave her a little special treatment when we got home and let her watch three episodes of Dora the Explorer and that seemed to finish perking her spirits up. After lunch she sat in the recliner with her Daddy, new baby doll clutched in her arms, and listened to him as he read her Mary Engelbreit's Mother Goose Stories and after just a few short minutes of reading was out like a light in his arms. She was one tired baby girl...and who could blame her!
