So I am incredibly behind on updating my blog, so I am going to make this an update of sorts...
Jacksonville Beach with the fam:
My family and I got away on some much needed time together about a month ago thanks to some dear sweet friends. We went to Jacksonville Beach for a week and had a blast! We were able to kick back and do whatever we pleased...actually whatever Madie and Hannah pleased which consisted of: Going out to the beach and swimming in the "blue water" (the swimming pool to most). We enjoyed much relaxation and quality time together. I realized while we were there how quickly time with these two girls is going. Madie turned three and Hannah six months the week before we left and it just seemed too fast. I we made a ton of memories on this first trip as a family of four and hope to make many many more Lord willing!
Baltimore MD with the Hubs:
My honey and I got to get away as well just two short weeks (and I do mean SHORT) later. We left the girls (Hannah for the first time) in the worthy care of Stephen's parents the first half of the week and my parents the second half of the week as we boarded a plane to Maryland for the "Worship God 2011 Conference." It was an amazing week with much growth in and through the two of us. It was wonderful for our marriage for us to do together. We had many late night conversations about things we had heard, how the Lord had moved, things revealed, convictions from the Holy Spirit, visions for the ministry, etc. We were able to attend the general sessions together and we went to two of the four break-out sessions separately which was wonderful as well. The Lord showed many ways over the week how to pray for and encourage Stephen as he presses on to fulfill his God given calling. I was so thankful to see the Lord encourage his spirit with the freedom he had in just participating in Worship and not being responsible for anything other than himself.
We were also able to take half a day and drive over to Washington D.C. and visit a few things and eat some delish food!!! We actually got to go stand in line for 45 minutes and partake in the Oh most fabulous cupcakes of THE "Georgetown Cupcakes" which has a show on TLC. They are truly masters of the craft of cupcake making! Needless to say my love and I got to enjoy each other's company and some fabulous sight seeing which was the icing on the cake for this trip. Never take for granted the moments you have with your spouse when you have kids; it helps you remember how to enjoy each other apart from your children which in turn makes you a better parent.
Home to preparing for the weeks ahead:

The beach really suited her...
Times I wish I could freeze with her!
Hollywood comes to town with her floaties.
Who doesn't love a nap on the beach?
Ok...so that water wasn't really her thing!
One of my favorite girls.
She melts my heart!
Swimming in the "blue water"
Her favorite thing about going to the beach.
Who doesn't love a second nap on the beach???
These two make being a mommy so fun!
Treasured moments...
Blessings of a lifetime those three!
This picture describes the importance of a "Daddy"
Can't remember what life was like before her...
This is how she greets each new thing...full speed ahead!
Wait for me!
I can't blink or she'll be grown!

Home to preparing for the weeks ahead:
Life was in fast forward when we got back home. Stephen hit the ground running full speed ahead trying to finish preparing for Heritage and Vision Sunday which was only a week away and I was trying to finish up my plans for Homeschooling a Preschooler...Oh my did I just say that! I have been saving up stuff for the last few years and especially the last few months to use with Madie when we start school. I have been working hard to prepare some structured lessons and routines with her. We haven't actually started yet because we have had so much going on. We are getting ready to start in about a week. We have a few things to finish up before we can get on a consistent schedule, but I am absolutely pumped to get started! I think we are going to have a BLAST!
