Look Whoo's Turning One!

We had Hannah's first birthday at our house this past Saturday with lots of family and friends present to celebrate with us!  It was supposed to be a nasty and wet day, but it turned out to be beautiful.  It was so much fun to celebrate this wonderful occasion with such great people and I know Hannah will look back at the pictures one day and feel very loved!

Hannah was precious in her little Owl shirt that a friend made for her (thanks Mrs. Amy), and I got ambitious and made her first birthday cake (which I also did for Madie's first birthday...maybe becoming a tradition) to look like a little girl owl.  I also made her smash cake to match which from all indications (pictures will show later) she enjoyed very much.  It was such a blast!

The Wonderful Mrs. Pat who has made every birthday party for both of my girls thus far, she and her sweet Husband are such a treasure to our family...especially our girls!

My precious grandmother and awesome aunt who have also made every single birthday party for Madie and now Hannah...2 1/2 hour drive one way for just a 2 hour party...they are so special to us!
