I know I'm a bit late on this post, but let's face it, until my children graduate from high school, I don't foresee that improving anytime soon...so nevertheless Happy Birthday Hannah Kate!
Hannah turned two January 21st and as I reflected back over the last two years of her life I praised God for this little angel blessing! Hannah is my child filled with a personality that is polar opposite of Madie. They are so very different in most ways, but they are my joy!
Hannah, this last year of your sweet little life has been such a blessing to mine. You are such a burst of light on cloudy days and a fresh breeze in a stagnant room. Your delight with making people smile brings so much warmth to all those who encounter you and your "full speed ahead" outlook is just so very comical. Your funny little facial expressions never fail to bring about laughter and your quirky little habits make you who you are.
The day you were born was such a calm and slow paced day until you decided you were ready to make your grand entrance and every since then, I can't remember another calm or slow paced moment of life! There is nothing about you that is calm, everything you do you do with much intention and much drama. And slow paced doesn't even begin to describe you my little speedy; everything you do, you do with a sprint!
I love your love for your "sissy." I love to watch you admire her and annoy her all at the same time. I love to watch the two of you play together and enjoy one another...even though that is not always the case :). I pray that your friendship with Madie will continue to grow over the years and that the two of you will love each other like the best of friends.
My desire for you little girl, is that as you continue to grow, that you will begin to know and understand the Love that THE Almighty God has for you dear one. I pray that as your Daddy and I strive to live a life before you and your sister that points you towards Christ that you will see HIM clearly no matter the mistakes we make along the way. I pray that you would give your life to Him at the earliest possible age of understanding and that you would devote your life to HIS cause.
You are such a delight to our family and I eagerly await what is in store for you this next year. You are such a vibrant part of our family and we love you to the moon and back sweet girl!!!
