My babies are growing oh so fast and I feel like I can't take enough pictures to capture them at each stage of their lives, because I don't want to miss or forget a thing! I feel like we have entered into a new season...my "babies" don't seem so much like babies anymore and life feels a bit different.
The things I prayed for when Hannah was born such as Madie and Hannah's relationship, the Lord has been so faithful to nurture and grow them to begin loving each other as friends and not just sisters. It occurred to me this past weekend as I watched them play together tirelessly that they adore each other. My heart was full at this realization; I reflected back on the days when I wondered if they were even going to like each other, much less enjoy one another.
I'm so thankful for the time I have with them, and thank the Lord for His graciousness in letting me be a part of their lives day in and day out as I witness what He does through them. I look forward to what He continues to do, but for now I bask in the day He has given me with them today!
Children truly are a gift from the Lord, and I thank Him for my two gifts!
