Goodbye Preschool...Hello BIG GIRL!

As I walked down the hall to pick up Madie from Mother's Morning Out where she has spent the the last three years learning and growing under the wonderful teachers there, I saw a sign outside her door that read, "Goodbye Mother's Morning Out, Hello Kindergarden!" My heart sank to my toes and the tears began to fall!  I can't believe my first baby girl is no longer a baby!  I wept in the hall by myself as I read that sign and looked at all the tiny handprints on the sign.

She is growing up so fast, into the role of big sister which seems to fit her quite well now, little girl who is so very independent, and precious little personality of care and concern for others.  She has mastered so much in the last several years and continues to excel in all that she does.  She has started helping out around the house, like yesterday when she volunteered to help me fold clothes...uh what!  She did a great job at it too I might add.

Her sweet little self is an overwhelming daily reminder of God's grace.  He is so gracious to entrust me with this awesome little girl.  I am so thankful to be her mommy and witness all that the Lord will do in and through her!

Madie,
Daddy and Mommy are so very proud of you!  You bring so much excitement and happiness to our lives and you make each of us feel so loved.  We pray that as you continue to grow, that you will learn the most important things in life which are the truths that will point you towards Christ.  We pray that you would learn to love God more than anything in this world and that you would serve Him with every fiber of your being.  That more than anything little girl, is what we desire for your future and whatever that will entail!  So you learn all that you can in school so that you can use those skills to enrich your abilities to serve Christ.

Love,
Mommy and Daddy

Look out, here she comes!  And she always comes, FULL SPEED AHEAD!!!

Love  you more than you will ever know little girl!!!
